It really gets on my nerves when my parents tell me something as if they are enlightening me, when I already know it. As if they are wisely imparting wisdom to the dumb little thing whom knows nothing about life/college. I know they aren’t be purposefully patronizing though soooo, I guess I’ll just give humility a try and let them feel omnipotent for a while.
